Ultra-2

The Dualtron Ultra 2 is the second generation of Minimotors' off-road flagship, built under the Dualtron brand by the South Korean manufacturer. It uses twin BLDC hub motors with a combined peak output cited at approximately 6,640 W, driven by dual 40 A controllers, and in the configuration documented here carries a 72 V / 40 Ah battery built from LG M50LT 21700 cells and rated near 2,880 Wh. The chassis rides on 11-inch wide off-road pneumatic tyres with inner tubes, mounted on an aviation-grade aluminium frame, and uses adjustable rubber-elastomer cartridge suspension front and rear. Braking is handled by hydraulic disc brakes with electronic ABS on 160 mm rotors. Reviewers cite a manufacturer-quoted top speed in the region of 90 km/h and a maker range figure around 120 km, with real-world results varying widely by rider weight, terrain and riding mode. It is explicitly not a commuter device: at roughly 46 kg it is heavy to lift and carry, and its speed places it well beyond legal limits for shared paths in most jurisdictions.
