Rion

Rion Motors is a small Los Angeles-based manufacturer that hand-builds ultra-lightweight, carbon-bodied performance electric scooters. Founded in the mid-2010s, the company assembles its machines in the United States, sourcing motors from Germany, tyres and wheels from Italy, and aluminium sub-frame parts from Israel. Rion pioneered the carbon-fibre hyperscooter, producing low-volume, made-to-order models such as the RE90, Thrust and Apex that prioritise extreme power-to-weight over mass-market practicality.
