Max-g30

The Segway Ninebot MAX G30 is the 2019 long-range flagship of the Ninebot commuter line, built around a single rear hub motor rated at 350 W nominal and 700 W peak. Its defining feature for the era is a large integrated 36 V, 15.3 Ah (551 Wh) Samsung lithium-ion battery that gives a manufacturer-claimed range of up to 65 km, though independent testing measures roughly 30-35 km in real-world use. It rides on 10-inch self-sealing tubeless pneumatic tyres and has no suspension, relying on the large air tyres for comfort; stopping combines a front drum brake with an electronic regenerative rear brake. Top speed is electronically limited to 25 km/h, prioritising legality and range over outright speed, and a full-colour info dashboard plus a Bluetooth app round out the package. Segway is a US brand founded in 1999 and owned since 2015 by China-based Ninebot, which builds the co-branded Segway-Ninebot KickScooter line. The trade-off for the big battery is mass: at about 18.7 kg it is on the heavier side of its class, with a 100 kg maximum rider load.
