P100s

The Segway Ninebot P100S is the top trim of Segway-Ninebot's P-series, built around a single rear hub motor rated at 650 W nominal and roughly 1,350 W peak, able to climb grades up to about 23%. Its 21700-cell pack carries an official spec rating of 1,086 Wh at 47.2 V nominal and 23 Ah (marketing cites a maximum-voltage headline of 1,512 Wh / 58.8 V), giving a manufacturer-claimed range of up to 100 km (62.1 mi) on a single charge at a 48 km/h (30 mph) top speed. Long-distance comfort comes from a double-wishbone torsion-bar suspension on both the front and rear wheels paired with 10.5-inch self-sealing tubeless pneumatic tyres, while braking combines front and rear mechanical discs (140 mm ventilated rotors) with a regenerative electric brake. Segway is a US-origin personal-transport brand founded in 1999 and owned since 2015 by China's Ninebot (headquartered in Beijing), so its products ship under the combined Segway-Ninebot identity. Launched in 2022 via a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign alongside the mid-tier P65, the P100S trades portability for its range: at 32.9 kg it is one of the heavier, least portable commuter scooters in its class.
