Sherman-l

The Veteran Sherman L is the long-range successor in LeaperKim's Veteran Sherman family, blending the high-capacity battery lineage of the Sherman series with the suspension and refinement of newer Veteran wheels. It carries a 4,000 Wh Samsung 50S pack at 151 V nominal, driving a 3,200 W hub motor rated to roughly 8,000 W peak. Unlike the original suspension-free Sherman, the L adds a Fastace hydraulic fork with about 90 mm of adjustable travel, offered with three spring weights. Reviewers consistently report real-world range around 140-160 km and a cruising ceiling near 90 km/h, while noting that the wheel's size and mass make it better suited to experienced long-distance riders than to slow-speed urban maneuvering. A notable engineering feature is sensorless backup operation, letting the wheel keep balancing even after a total loss of motor hall-sensor signal.
