BEGODE
Begode Master
SKU: EUC-BGMST-001
Description
The Begode Master is a high-voltage, high-power suspension electric unicycle (EUC) built by the Chinese maker Begode (formerly Gotway). It runs a 134.4 V battery system in a 32s4p configuration with a 2,400 Wh pack of Samsung cells and a 3,500 W high-torque C38 motor, giving it strong acceleration and a free-spin speed cited around 112 km/h (real riding speeds are much lower and rider-dependent). A reverse-chamber air shock provides about 80 mm of suspension travel, with two-position linkages that let riders adjust the geometry. The larger sibling, the Master Pro, scales the same concept up to a 22-inch wheel, a roughly 5,000 W motor and a 4,800 Wh battery — among the biggest EUC packs ever produced. Both are heavy, expert-oriented machines rather than beginner wheels.
Highlights
- 134.4 V max / 102.4 V nominal battery system (32s4p) — one of the first EUCs to break the 100 V class
- 3,500 W high-torque C38 hub motor; Master Pro variant steps up to roughly 5,000 W
- 2,400 Wh battery (Samsung 50E/50S cells); Master Pro carries up to 4,800 Wh
- Reverse-chamber air shock with ~80 mm of travel and adjustable two-position linkages
- 20-inch wheel on a 3-inch knobby tire with tall die-cast pedals
- Around 36 kg curb weight — a demanding wheel to carry and to learn on
Model history
Begode (the renamed Gotway brand) released the Master in 2023 as a flagship suspension EUC and one of the first production unicycles to adopt a 134 V battery architecture, pushing peak power and top speed beyond the previous 100 V generation. The Master Pro followed as a larger, longer-range variant with a 22-inch wheel and a 4,800 Wh pack, at the time among the highest-capacity EUC batteries available. The pair sit near the top of the high-performance EUC segment and are widely regarded as intermediate-to-expert machines.

Pros & cons
Pros
- Very high power and acceleration from the 134 V system and 3,500 W motor
- Large 2,400 Wh battery enables long real-world range (~89 mi / ~143 km at a steady pace)
- Air suspension with adjustable geometry smooths out rough surfaces
- Tall pedals and balanced weight distribution help confident riders feel planted
- Master Pro variant offers exceptional range and is praised for comfortable seated riding
Cons
- Heavy (~36 kg; Master Pro ~53 kg) — hard to carry, lift or recover after a dismount
- Steep learning curve; explicitly an intermediate-to-expert wheel, not for beginners
- Stock suspension needs careful tuning (high shock pressure) to perform well
- No published IP rating — not designed for wet-weather riding
- High speeds demand full protective gear and disciplined speed margins to avoid cutouts
Verdict
The Begode Master suits experienced EUC riders who want top-tier power, long range and suspension comfort and are willing to manage its weight and tuning quirks. Newcomers should learn on a lighter, slower wheel first; the Master and the bigger Master Pro are expert tools, not starter machines.
What reviewers say
-
The Master is powerful and smooth, BUT this suspension high performance EUC is far from perfect.
Electric Unicycle Guide -
The Master Pro is a terrible wheel to learn how to ride EUC. It is definitely an intermediate to expert wheel due to its size and weight.
