BEGODE
Begode MSuper X
SKU: EUC-BGMSX-001
Description
The GotWay MSuper X, universally abbreviated MSX, is a 19-inch high-performance electric unicycle introduced in 2018 as the high-speed evolution of the long-running MSuper line. It pairs a 2000W rated hub motor (rated to roughly 4000W peak) with a wide 3-inch tire on a 19-inch wheel, giving it a planted, carve-friendly road manner that reviewers consistently describe as smooth and stable at speed. The MSX shipped in two electrical platforms: an 84V version, most commonly with a 1600Wh pack, and a higher-voltage 100V version that started at 1230Wh and later grew to large 1845/1860Wh “Plus” battery packs for extended range and a higher top end. Unlike GotWay’s later suspension wheels, the MSX has a rigid, non-suspension chassis, relying on the fat pneumatic tire for compliance. It uses regenerative braking, a fixed trolley handle, integrated head and tail lighting, and pairs with the GotWay/Begode smartphone app for speed, battery and temperature telemetry plus tiltback alarm tuning. The MSX became a reference point for fast, range-focused unicycling before being discontinued in favour of newer Begode models such as the MSuper Pro and RS.
Highlights
- 19-inch wheel with a wide 3-inch pneumatic tire for a planted, carve-friendly road feel
- Offered in 84V (typically 1600Wh) and 100V (1230Wh up to ~1845Wh) battery platforms
- 2000W rated hub motor with roughly 4000W peak output
- Rigid non-suspension chassis tuned for high-speed stability
- Regenerative braking, integrated lighting and a fixed trolley handle
- GotWay/Begode app for telemetry and tiltback/alarm configuration
Model history
Released by GotWay in 2018 as the high-speed successor in the MSuper family, the MSX quickly became an icon of the fast-touring EUC era. Its combination of a strong 2000W/4000W-peak motor, a tall 19-inch wheel and large battery options (including 100V packs reaching ~1845Wh) made it one of the go-to wheels for riders chasing both top speed and long range before suspension wheels became mainstream. It was later discontinued as Begode moved the line forward with the MSuper Pro and RS.

Pros & cons
Pros
- Smooth, stable and carve-friendly ride character at higher speeds
- Strong 2000W motor with high peak output for confident acceleration
- Multiple battery options (84V 1600Wh, 100V up to ~1845Wh) for range or speed
- Capable on both pavement and light off-road thanks to the wide tire
- App connectivity with full telemetry and configurable safety tiltback
Cons
- No suspension, so all damping comes from the tire on rough surfaces
- Heavy at roughly 23.5 kg, making it tiring to carry or trolley far
- Reviewers note it is not the strongest hill climber in its class
- The large wheel can add slight lag to power delivery and turn-in
- Discontinued, so support and parts depend on remaining stock
Verdict
The MSX is a landmark fast-touring electric unicycle: a 19-inch, 2000W wheel with generous battery options that delivers a smooth, stable, range-friendly ride. Its lack of suspension and considerable weight date it against newer models, but for high-speed road riding it remains a respected benchmark of its generation.
