InMotion V12

SKU: EUC-IMV12-001

Description

The InMotion V12 is a high-performance 16-inch electric unicycle (EUC) built around a 100.8V / 1750Wh battery on 21700 cells, making it the brand’s first 100V wheel. The standard V12 / V12 HS (High Speed) uses a 2500W motor for an unlocked top speed near 70 km/h, while the V12 HT (High Torque) swaps in a 2800W motor, an off-road tire and a 45-degree climbing rating for steeper terrain. It has no suspension, instead relying on a wide pneumatic tire for comfort, and pioneered InMotion’s app-free multifunction touchscreen, pedal-height adjustment and a USB-C port. Reviewers consistently praise its power and customization but flag relatively weak braking for a 16-inch wheel. It is a machine for experienced riders, not beginners.

Model history

InMotion announced the V12 in 2020 and brought it to market in 2021 as its first 100V electric unicycle and the first with an app-free multifunction touchscreen. The original High Speed configuration was joined in June 2022 by the V12 HT (High Torque), a 2800W variant with an off-road tire and a 45-degree climbing rating. A later V12 Pro combined elements of both. Across the line the V12 became the most powerful unicycle in the 16-inch class of its era.

Cons

  • Braking is described by reviewers as sluggish and slow for a 16-inch wheel
  • No suspension — comfort relies entirely on the pneumatic tire

  • Manufacturer range figures are optimistic versus measured real-world results

Verdict

The InMotion V12 is a powerful, highly customizable 16-inch performance unicycle aimed at experienced riders, available in a High Speed (2500W) and a High Torque (2800W) configuration. Its standout features are the app-free touchscreen and strong acceleration; its main weakness, noted across reviews, is braking that feels weak for the wheel’s power. It is not a beginner machine and requires full protective gear.
