Inokim Light 2
SKU: SCT-INL2-001
Description
The Inokim Light 2 is an ultraportable commuter scooter from Israeli brand Inokim, built around a CNC-machined aluminium frame and a single 350W rear hub motor rated to roughly 650W peak. It is widely praised by reviewers for build quality and finish that exceed most scooters in its weight class, weighing about 13.7 kg with a fast folding stem. Power comes from a 36V 10.4Ah (about 374Wh) LG-cell battery; the advertised range reaches up to roughly 45 km, though independent testing returns closer to 26 km. Top speed is around 35 km/h. The Light 2 runs 8.5-inch pneumatic tyres (an air-filled front, with the rear pneumatic on most units though some batches shipped a solid honeycomb rear), uses dual drum brakes with an electronic motor cut-off, and has no suspension. It is aimed at riders who prioritise portability and refinement over outright speed or off-road capability.

Model history
The Light line is Inokim’s compact ultraportable platform, descended from the lightweight folding scooters that Israeli industrial designer Nimrod Sapir first built under the MyWay name before the brand was renamed Inokim following a 2014 partnership with Kfir Ben-Shushan. The Light 2 succeeded the original Light as the brand’s portable commuter model and became a long-running reference point for premium ultraportable scooters. A revised Light 2 Max, with a larger 12.8Ah battery, was later introduced to extend the line.

Verdict
4.5/5 Reviewer consensus · 4 sources
The Inokim Light 2 is one of the most refined ultraportable commuter scooters, prized for build quality, portability and a comfortable ride rather than performance. Its modest speed, drum brakes and lack of suspension are honest trade-offs for a polished, easy-to-carry daily commuter.
