INOKIM
Inokim OX
SKU: SCT-INOX-001
Description
The Inokim OX is a single-motor commuter and light-touring electric scooter from the Israeli maker Inokim, sitting between the lighter Quick range and the dual-motor OXO. It pairs a single rear hub motor with a 60V lithium-ion pack and 10-inch pneumatic tyres on a CNC-machined aviation-grade aluminium frame. Its defining trait is the patented single-sided mono-swingarm with adjustable rubber-cartridge suspension front and rear, which lets a rider swap a tyre without removing the wheel and gives a notably quiet, compliant ride. Braking combines a front drum with a rear disc, and the cockpit uses a simple LCD with three ride modes. The OX is offered in battery variants (commonly described as Hero and Super) that change capacity and range while sharing the same chassis. Reviewers consistently single it out for fit and finish rather than raw acceleration: it is built from custom, purpose-made parts rather than generic components, and it reaches roughly 45 km/h while feeling planted and refined rather than aggressive.

Model history
Inokim was founded by Israeli industrial designer Nimrod Sapir, whose early light folding e-scooter (originally the MyWay) became the basis for the brand after a 2014 partnership. The OX expanded the line into a larger, suspension-equipped touring platform built around custom CNC-machined parts and the brand’s signature single-sided swingarm. It has been sold over several model years in Eco, Hero and Super battery variants, and later spawned the dual-motor OXO flagship.

Pros & cons
Pros
- Exceptional build quality and fit-and-finish using custom, purpose-made parts
- Quiet, compliant rubber-cartridge suspension that smooths out rough surfaces
- Single-sided swingarm allows tyre changes without removing the wheel
- Strong, well-tuned braking that works well straight out of the box
- Refined, planted ride that inspires confidence for daily commuting
Cons
- Heavy for its class at around 28 kg, which limits easy carrying and stair-hauling
- Sluggish, unenthusiastic acceleration below roughly 24 km/h
- Top speed of about 45 km/h exceeds the legal limit in many regions, so check local e-scooter rules
- Long charge time (around 7 hours, longer on the Super pack)
- No companion app and only basic IPX4 water resistance
Verdict
The Inokim OX is a premium single-motor commuter and light-touring scooter for riders who prioritise build quality, ride refinement and reliability over outright speed. Its quiet adjustable suspension, custom engineering and strong brakes make it a smooth, dependable daily machine; the trade-offs are its weight, modest off-the-line acceleration and a top speed that exceeds the legal limit in many places.
