MERCANE
Mercane WideWheel Pro
SKU: SCT-MCWWP-001
Description
The Mercane WideWheel Pro is a compact dual-motor electric scooter whose signature feature is its set of very wide, low-profile foam-filled tyres. Each of the two hub motors is rated at 500 W for 1000 W combined, with reviewers reporting short bursts of higher peak output for hill climbing. Power comes from a 48 V, 15 Ah lithium-ion pack rated at 720 Wh, feeding a top speed of around 42 km/h (26 mph). Manufacturer range claims sit in the 35-48 km band (about 22-30 miles), while independent road tests typically returned closer to 30 km of real-world distance. The 8-inch wide solid tyres are puncture-proof and, combined with dual spring suspension front and rear, produce the cushioned, self-stabilising ride that reviewers repeatedly describe as floating. Braking is handled by dual 120 mm mechanical disc brakes paired with electronic braking, and rider information is shown on a backlit LCD. The deck and stem fold for transport, the scooter weighs about 25 kg, and it carries an IP54 splash rating. The Pro generation was introduced as a build-quality and braking upgrade over the original WideWheel.

Model history
The WideWheel Pro is the second-generation entry in Mercane’s WideWheel family, following the original WideWheel that earned a following for its distinctive wide-tyre stance. The Pro was launched as a refinement aimed at addressing build-quality and braking concerns from the first model, adding upgraded disc brakes, revised aluminium components and an improved LCD display. It was widely distributed and reviewed in the Western market, frequently through specialist retailer-reviewers such as fluidfreeride, and became one of the more recognisable compact dual-motor scooters of its era.
