Nami Burn-E 3 Max

SKU: HYP-NBE3-001

Description

The NAMI Burn-E 3 Max is the third generation of NAMI Electric’s flagship Burn-E series. Two 1500 W brushless hub motors deliver a combined peak output of 8400 W, propelling the scooter to 98 km/h. The 72 V 40 Ah LG 21700 battery (2880 Wh) charges in 8 hours on the standard 84V 5A charger. KKE 165 mm rebound-adjustable hydraulic coil-shock suspension (front and rear) absorbs road irregularities. LOGAN 4-piston hydraulic 160 mm disc brakes with adjustable regenerative braking provide confident stopping power. 11-inch CST 90/65-6.5 tubeless tyres resist punctures and maintain traction. IP55 protection for the frame, IP65 for the controller and display. Up to 120 km mixed-mode range; max payload 120 kg.

Model history

The Burn-E 3 Max is the third-generation flagship of NAMI’s Burn-E platform, carrying over the dual 1500W motors with an 8400W peak while refreshing the chassis and components. Generation 3 pairs a 72V 40Ah LG cell pack with 165mm KKE adjustable hydraulic coil-shock suspension, LOGAN 4-piston full-hydraulic brakes on 160mm discs, a full carbon-fibre steering column and NFC card unlocking. It sits at the top of the current Burn-E range as a refined long-range hyper-scooter.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • One of the quickest production accelerations in its class
  • Adjustable dual hydraulic suspension — benchmark comfort
  • Powerful 4-piston hydraulic brakes
  • High build quality and premium materials
  • 165mm KKE adjustable hydraulic coil-shock suspension front and rear with 11-inch tubeless tyres for a plush, tunable ride
  • LOGAN 4-piston full-hydraulic brakes on 160mm discs for strong, finger-light stopping
  • 72V 40Ah LG cell pack delivers a large eco-mode touring range
  • NFC card unlock plus a 2000-lumen headlight, integrated turn signals and a motorcycle-style horn
  • Full carbon-fibre steering column keeps unsprung structure stiff while saving weight

Cons

  • Heavy (over 40 kg) — awkward to carry
  • Demanding to own and maintain (premium parts, slow charging)
  • Power is overkill for the city — best for experienced riders
  • Very heavy at around 50 kg, so portability and carrying remain a real limitation
  • Quoted ~120 km range is an eco-mode best case; fast riding cuts real-world distance substantially
  • Independent in-depth English review and tested-data coverage is thinner than for the original Burn-E and Burn-E 2
  • Size, weight and power make it more machine than most urban commuters need
  • Large 40Ah pack means long charge times on a single standard charger

Verdict

The Burn-E 3 Max is aimed at experienced riders who want the latest Burn-E chassis with KKE suspension, LOGAN 4-piston brakes and NFC convenience in a long-range package. It continues the series’ comfort-first, build-quality-led approach rather than chasing outright top-speed records, and its weight makes it best suited to open-road touring over dense-city portability.
