Description
VSETT 9+ - Compact Dual-Motor Commuter
The VSETT 9+ is the dual-motor member of VSETT’s compact 9 family, built around two 650W hub motors (1300W combined, rated up to roughly 2000W peak) and a 48V battery offered in 15.6Ah, 19.2Ah and 21Ah LG capacities. In the 21Ah configuration the pack holds about 1008 Wh. VSETT advertises a 53 km/h (33 mph) top speed and a dual-motor range of up to about 100 km, with single-motor mode available to extend efficiency; independent testers measure real-world dual-motor range well below the headline figure, around 45 km depending on weight, mode and speed.
It rolls on 8.5x3-inch pneumatic tyres with adjustable coil-spring swing-arm suspension front and rear, and stops with front and rear mechanical (cable-actuated) disc brakes backed by an electronic ABS system. Settings are handled through a QS-S4 throttle display with an integrated NFC key-lock immobiliser and electronic horn; there is no companion smartphone app. IP54 water resistance covers light wet-weather riding. Depending on battery option the dual-motor 9+ weighs roughly 25-27 kg.
The wider VSETT 9 line also includes a single-motor 52V VSETT 9 (one 650W motor, 45 km/h) and touring-oriented 9R / 9+R variants with larger fenders, full lighting and a 21Ah pack. Reviewers single out the 9+ for brisk acceleration and a comfortable, planted ride from its long-travel spring suspension, while noting it is fairly heavy for a compact scooter and slow to charge on a single stock charger. It sits in the light-performance commuter segment alongside scooters such as the Apollo City and EMOVE Cruiser.
