BEGODE
Begode T4
SKU: EUC-BGT4-001
Description
The Begode T4 is a compact, mid-size suspension electric unicycle (EUC) built by the Chinese maker Begode (formerly Gotway). It pairs a 2,500 W hub motor with an 84 V nominal (100.8 V peak) battery system in a 24s4p configuration; the T4 Pro carries an 1,800 Wh pack of Samsung 50E/50S cells, while an earlier T4 V3 used a smaller 1,440 Wh Samsung 40T pack. A coil-spring shock gives about 100 mm of adjustable travel, packaged around a 16-inch tire on a 12-inch rim. Reviewers describe a free-spin speed near 78 km/h with a recommended real-world cruising ceiling closer to 56-60 km/h, and a factory range claim around 96-100 km. A higher-output T4 Max variant steps the motor up to 3,000 W and adds a DS200 coil shock with adjustable preload, rebound and compression.
Highlights
- 84 V nominal / 100.8 V peak battery system (24s4p) on a compact suspension chassis
- 2,500 W hub motor (T4 Max variant steps up to 3,000 W)
- 1,800 Wh battery on the T4 Pro (Samsung 50E/50S); earlier T4 V3 used a 1,440 Wh 40T pack
- Coil-spring shock with ~100 mm of adjustable travel that reviewers say resists bottoming out
- 16-inch tire on a 12-inch rim — one of the most compact suspension EUCs available
- ~32 kg curb weight, lighter and less intimidating than larger beast-class suspension wheels
Model history
Begode (the renamed Gotway brand) introduced the T4 around 2023-2024 as a smaller-format suspension EUC, bringing the coil-shock suspension feel of larger wheels like the Master into a more compact 16-inch package. It went through several hardware revisions (V3, V4, V5) and spawned T4 Pro and T4 Max variants with larger batteries and stronger motors. Within EUC history it is notable as one of the first compact suspension wheels aimed at commuters rather than the heavy beast-class segment.

Pros & cons
Pros
- Suspension comfort in a much smaller and lighter package than beast-class wheels
- Coil shock with ~100 mm of adjustable travel that reviewers say does not bottom out
- Strong torque from the 2,500 W motor and 84 V system for a wheel of this size
- Simple, all-metal frame with a top-mounted controller that reviewers call easy to repair
- App connectivity allows tuning, including reducing the speed cap to 25 km/h
Cons
- No published IP rating — not designed for wet-weather or all-weather riding
- Reviewers note stock pedal spikes offer little traction when wet
- Still ~32 kg, heavy to carry and demanding to learn for newcomers to EUCs
- Early units described as a first-generation product still working out wrinkles
- Spec figures vary by revision (V3 vs Pro vs Max), so listings can disagree
Verdict
The Begode T4 suits commuters and casual riders who want a genuine suspension-EUC experience in a compact, lighter and less intimidating package than the big beast-class wheels. It is not a wet-weather machine, and like all EUCs it demands protective gear and disciplined speed margins; newcomers should still expect a real learning curve.

-
Once they work out all the wrinkles, this 16 inch suspension EUC is going to be a lot of fun.
