Segway

Segway is the American-founded personal-mobility brand that popularised the self-balancing two-wheeled transporter in 2001 and, after its 2015 acquisition by China's Ninebot, became one of the world's largest makers of electric kick scooters, e-bikes and robotics. The Segway-Ninebot group supplies the hardware behind many shared-scooter fleets and sells a consumer line that ranges from lightweight commuters to the high-power SuperScooter GT performance series.
